Ref:092 Join Us as a BIM Technician at CWA and Shape the Future of Energy As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we are excited to contribute to the building of Sizewell C—a ground breaking 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, ensuring reliable, clean energy for at least 60 years. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled BIM Technician to join our team in this transformative project. About the Role: In this dynamic role, you will be an integral member of our Digital Project Delivery Team, supporting the implementation of our Digital Strategy and Digital Execution Plan. Your main responsibilities will include: Implementing the project BIM Execution Plan and associated documents. Utilizing 3D and 4D modelling software for design review, model management, and clash detection. Promoting best practices within a Common Data Environment for graphical and non-graphical information delivery. Working with various grid reference systems, GIS, and bathymetry data processes. Assisting in the identification and delivery of client information requirements, including COBie asset information deliverables. What We’re Looking For: We seek candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and experience: Proficient in 3D and 4D modelling software applications for industrial purposes. Knowledge of GIS, bathymetry data processes, and different grid reference systems. Experience with design review processes, model management, and BIM clash detection. Familiarity with COBie asset requirements and delivery in line with a BIM Execution Plan. Ability to work within a Common Data Environment. Experience with Bentley, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and Synchro Software or equivalent.
