The position's primary focus will be in the areas of computer operations, user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk, Microsoft Office, and networking support.
This is a first-line support role involving network, hardware, and Microsoft software support. You will also be responsible for managing software upgrades, and basic PC maintenance including moving PCs, installing new PCs, installing software on existing PCs, and daily checks of networks and servers.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, solve problems and make decisions as well as demonstrate extremely strong literacy skills, possess a high level of organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. You will have good attention to detail, a high level of communication skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products and combined with being adaptable and able to function in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
The ideal candidate will exercise judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures correctly and determines when to refer problems to the manager or next level of support.

Requirements.
Education: College graduate or equivalent with computer operations certification such as Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent. A level in IT technologies beneficial.
Skills and Experience: Two or more years of related experience with computers including Windows operating systems and understand network infrastructure. You will require the knowledge of a variety of hardware as well as software, notably Microsoft Windows/Office, and Active Directory. Experience in Apple OS X would also be beneficial.
