ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Senior National Account Manager to join a vibrant and growing business based Manchester. Due to continued success, this role has been newly created to help with my client's development into the grocery/discount sector as well as nurturing existing established clients. The successful National Account Manager will play a pivotal role in developing new and expanding existing business relationships. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, establish brand visibility, and promote our products on a national scale. Your ability to effectively manage key accounts, collaborate cross-functionally, and stay attuned to market trends will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing retail accounts, acting as the primary point of contact. Understand their unique needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored solutions that drive mutual growth.
* Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the grocery/discount retail sector. Prospect and onboard new accounts by presenting the product portfolio, value propositions, and differentiation in the market.
