The unit is currently open Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm. A flexible approach regarding working hours is essential as the days required to work can vary.

Main duties of the job
The Medical Day Case Unit provides a service to patients requiring treatment but do not need inpatient care. Patients often require intravenous infusions and blood tests.
You should be confident in working under your own initiative and able to prioritize your clinical care, admissions, and discharges accordingly.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team and deliver high quality, evidence-led care.

Job Description
The post holder will be a Registered Nurse responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient care and uphold the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) professional standards. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, they will be an accountable practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and coordinating care delivery.
