Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working within the healthcare sector? We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team and lead comprehensive 6 Facet surveys for a major hospital in Leeds.
The Role: As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting detailed 6 Facet surveys across a large hospital estate, ensuring compliance, safety, and the overall integrity of the built environment. Your expertise will support the hospital in maintaining high standards and planning for future improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out full 6 Facet surveys, assessing the condition, functional suitability, space utilisation, statutory compliance, quality, and environmental management of hospital buildings.
Prepare detailed reports with clear recommendations for maintenance and improvement strategies.
Work closely with hospital estates and facilities teams to provide expert advice on building conditions and compliance.
Identify potential risks, defects, and opportunities for enhancement within the hospital estate.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with NHS estate guidelines and industry best practices.
Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
Proven experience conducting 6 Facet surveys, ideally within the healthcare sector.
Strong understanding of NHS estate management guidelines and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
Ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders, including estates teams, contractors, and senior management.
A proactive and methodical approach with high attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
