JOB TITLE: Pricing Analyst
LOCATION: Tamworth
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5pm
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pricing analyst within a major AIM listed building products group. The business unit comprises a national network of c80+ distribution depots and has revenues in the order of £70m.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Identifying anomalies causing loss of profit and repricing in line with company margin guidelines
2. Analyse and monitor competitor pricing activity and suggest new pricing to increase sales and margin
3. Analyse and review high and low converting lines and suggest price changes
4. Monitor price changes made, collate, record and present the data
5. Feedback uncompetitive pricing to the Commercial department – including competitor promotional activity
6. Build relationships with key stakeholders & branches in order to support regional strategies (Travel required)
7. Assign correct pricing profiles – comparing customer pricing by size, opportunity, margin & support
8. Conduct investigations as directed into identified areas of concern related to profit and margin – low margin products
9. Secret shopping exercises
10. Setup and manage promotional pricing and multibuy offers – cross selling & upselling activity
11. Process supplier price increases/decreases, implementing price changes to maintain profit and margin
12. Ensure all reports are in line with Commercial requirements
13. Liaise with group companies to monitor price support activities & adherence

Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
20. A background in analytics within a busy environment
21. Experience in Purchase/Pricing is a positive
22. Good with numbers & commercially astute
23. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
