Position: SEND Teacher
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Salisbury, working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of children, with the potential for the role to extend into the next academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of SEND pupils.
* Develop and implement individual learning plans to support students' progress.
* Provide support to pupils in both academic and personal development.
* Collaborate closely with other staff members, including Teaching Assistants and SENCO, to ensure effective provision.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to help each child thrive.
* Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that supports student well-being.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with SEND, particularly within a primary school setting (desirable but not essential).
* Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and the ability to adapt lessons to suit various learning needs.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to form positive relationships with children and colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
* A DBS check or the willingness to undertake one (if required).
