The NSA provides training and capability support across the nuclear family – working with our customers to develop, deliver and assure training and development solutions. The Training Standards Manager role is a demanding leadership role, pivotal to ensuring the service we provide to a wide range of stakeholders is first class and aligned with industry best practice. Continuous improvement is a key focus, assuring our future as the training provider of choice and maximising opportunities for efficiency. The role is based at either Hinkley Point C or Gloucester Business Park, with 2 – 3 days in the office a week and some travel around the fleet required. This role is being offered as a 2 year fixed term contract. What You’ll Be Doing Your role will be to: Lead and oversee the development of NSA training standards and protocols. Line manage a team of Training Specialists providing support across the licensee customers Chair the NSA Instructor CRC, developing first class Training Instructors to deliver solutions across a wide portfolio of programmes Evaluate and enhance existing training programs and practices, ensuring they meet industry benchmarks Develop and maintain a robust assessment and feedback system to measure training effectiveness. Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate innovative training methodologies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders Who You Are As our Training Standards Manager, you will have proven experience in both learning & development and leadership roles. Professional L&D qualification is advantageous. You will have extensive experience of the full deployment of SAT, including external validation and benchmarking. You will have a strong influencing, stakeholder management and communications skills and proven experience in leading and supporting matrix teams. As a person, you will be results orientated with the ability to drive focussed delivery in a complex matrixed environment, a critical thinker with the ability to pre-empt and solve problems and flexible and able to respond to fast moving situations.
