Overview
For January 2025 we are seeking an exceptional addition to our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will lead the learning provision in our school, as we build on recent excellent practice and continue to innovate. They will also play a key role in the day to day leadership and management of the school.
Additionally we would be particularly interested to receive applications from people with DSL qualifications and experience who would be interested in taking on that role here, along with some of the responsibilities outlined in the job pack. For such candidates the precise scope of the role would be determined upon appointment, to suit both the school and the individual.

About the role
The successful candidate will lead the development and evaluation of our learning and teaching, ensuring that we draw on the best available evidence and practice.
They will also oversee elements of our professional development programme, focusing on learning and teaching, and our ITT and ECF provision. Line management of one of our subject teams will ensure close links with what goes on in our classrooms.
Further responsibilities will be allocated on appointment, based on the successful candidate’s interests and experiences.
Whilst subject specialism is not especially important in this appointment, the ability to teach one of the subjects we offer at A level is an advantage.

To fill this rewarding and demanding role, we are seeking someone who has genuine creativity but who also possesses the highest level of organisational capacity; an excellent communicator who can shape ideas and see them through so that they make a real difference to what happens on the ground.
