JOB POSITIONS: Civil Engineering Expert - Finite Element Analyst

Location: Bristol
Job Description:
* You will work on the technical design, analysis, and implementation of civil engineering solutions for nuclear projects,
* You will provide specialised technical expertise and guidance within the Nuclear Engineering department, ensuring that all nuclear engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in the UK,
* Experience carrying out advanced analysis on RC structures,
* Experience carrying out advanced analysis of seismic, impacts, blast, and others,
* Provide technical mentorship to engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development,
* Prepare and present detailed technical reports,
* This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical and innovative engineering solutions,
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Security clearance: Given the nature of the work, role holders may be required to undergo Basic Security Clearance (BPSS). If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Software and Tools:
* Experience using industry-standard finite element analysis software (ANSYS, or equivalent).
