This is a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing FMCG brands in the UK, this is a strong heritage brand that is pivoting into UK FMCG and as a Senior National Account Manager you will have the opportunity to join the senior leadership team with a pathway to progress through the business.
This food business is disrupting what has been a fairly stagnant product category, they focus on high quality, healthy products that fall under one of the nations most loved cuisines.
As the Senior National Account Manager you will have full ownership of the Out Of Home (OOH) Channel which focuses on three specific aspects; Wholesale, Foodservice, Business&Industry. There will be budget available for you to start to build a team out from the beginning.
This role would be office based in Central London and would report directly into the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and exceed targets across OOH channel.
* Identify and win new business with key accounts.
* Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.
* Monitor account performance, proactively identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
* Negotiate terms, promotions, and joint business plans to ensure mutual profitability.
* Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with the brand’s mission.
* Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and consumer behaviour trends to inform the wider commercial strategy.
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and supply chain.
* Set the strategy to grow the sales team, recruit, mentor and develop a future team.
The ideal candidate would be/have:
* You have a passion for food, an avid interest in high quality and clean ingredients.
* Proven experience in FMCG sales, must have experience managing Wholesale or Foodservice accounts.
* Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
* Strong commercial acumen with a focus on sales growth and profitability.
* Strategic thinker with experience in creating and implementing account growth plans.
* Comfortable with category insights, able to make analytical decisions based on category reports.
* Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
