Job Title: M&E Technician
Advertised Salary: £34,000 - £38,500 (depending on experience - including Inner London Allowance) + benefits.
Location: Remote, with regular travel across our London & South East network.

As a Mechanical & Electrical Technician, you will play an important role using your technical expertise to deliver maintenance and repair works to M&E structures, plant, and equipment. You will assist with maintenance activities to electrical and mechanical assets, specifically hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work safely ensuring the safety of others and contribute to safe working in all activities.
* Manage volunteers in the delivery of works to ensure they are completed safely and to the correct quality.
* Support the delivery of a programme of M&E maintenance and repair works.
* Provide mechanical and electrical support to assist in the resolution of mechanical and electrical situations.
* Produce recommendations to minor problems undertaking minor design changes where appropriate.
* Provide a first level of response for reactive works.
* Inspect, monitor, and report on the condition of M&E assets.
* Provide customer service through operation of the Trust's assets.
* Display the Trust values and behaviours.
About You:
This role is for an Electrical Engineer/Technician/Operative with experience and knowledge of mechanical engineering, preferably in the water industry or manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications and Attainments:
* C&G2391/2 or equivalent for testing and inspection of electrical installation.
* C&G BS7671 18th edition wiring regs advantageous.
* NVQ3/C&G in an Electrical Discipline or Apprentice trained multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
* Short courses in specific mechanical or electrical courses advantageous.
Work Experience:
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Engineer/Technician/Operative.
* Proven experience with hydraulic systems and fault finding.
* Proven experience with electrical control panel fault finding is essential.
* Apprentice trained multi-skilled maintenance engineer highly desirable.
Skills:
* Knowledge of modern computerised planned maintenance systems.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Full driving licence.
Safety:
