Learning Development Worker

Working hours: 35 hours per week full-time, or 2 x part-time positions may be considered
Location: Fort William, Stornoway or Thurso or within reach of one of our smaller sites.
Closing Date: 12pm, Monday 10th February 2025
Position: We are seeking a team of highly motivated full-time and part-time Learning Development Workers. We are looking for individuals who will work in our sites at Fort William, Stornoway, and Thurso, and we may consider people who can work from one of our other sites.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in groups and in building their confidence as learners. You will take an active role in improving student retention, attainment, and positive student outcomes.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: You will demonstrate an ability to engage and communicate well with students at all levels, on an individual basis and in groups. Proven organisational skills, experience in motivating others, and skills in facilitating group activity are essential. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, both in person and via video calls. Educated at SCQF 7 and above.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
