We are excited to be recruiting are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant at our Newark Motor Auctions site - one of the largest independent used car auctions in the UK. Our team has been successfully helping customers buy and sell vehicles since our first auction back 1971. Now in our fifth decade, we have become the area's go-to auto auction for members of the public and motor trade professionals wanting a quick, simple and effective way to buy or sell a used vehicle.
We are looking to recruit an experienced administration assistant, The Admin team is a core part of the Auction business, made up of Payments and Admin support, both functions are responsible for delivering excellent customer service at all times to both buyers and vendors, and ensuring all processes are completed to a high level within the required timeframe/SLA.

An average day as an Administration Assistant….
Ensuring sales are delivered successfully and customer service levels are of high quality
To oversee a portfolio of key branch accounts, to provide a point of initial contact and administration support to the accounts as well as the branch
Responsible for ensuring that all administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner for the accounts, in line with business and customer requirements and SLA's to ensure customer experience is enhanced and maintained.
Contact with key customers on sale days, in order to enhance the customer experience.
Responsible for dealing with general customer enquiries in an efficient and timely manner both face to face, via telephone and email, ensuring a satisfactory outcome is reached or escalating where necessary Skills:
Booking in Auction lots and related paperwork
Taking payments from customers (cash and card payments) and related paperwork
Data input – keeping databases up to date prior to and after auction days
Various ad hoc duties to assist on busy Auction days
Representing Stoneacre and Newark Motor Auctions to a high level in all duties conducted
Details of hours….
Your normal hours of work will be 40 hours per week, as follows:
Monday Wednesday and Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Tuesday 9.00am to 8.00pm
Thursday 9.00am to 7.00pm
1 hour unpaid break for lunch by arrangement with your line manager.
About you…
The ideal candidate will be reliable and conscientious with administration experience.
Have experience of dealing with customers in person and over the phone
Strong attention to detail and a team player.
Experience of working within rigid regulations and procedures
Excellence customer service skills
Strong administration skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
High level of IT skills
Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous
