Our client is a well-established and leading multidisciplinary construction company based in Liverpool, seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. Our client specializes in new-build projects and interior retail fit-outs.\n\nAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing aspects of the commercial and financial elements of new build and interior fit out projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to the highest standards and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nTender & Contract Documentation: Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.\nCost Control & Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and cost control to ensure projects remain within budget.\nContractual Advice: Provide expert advice on contractual claims and disputes.\nProject Monitoring & Forecasting: Monitor and forecast project costs and budget forecasts, ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.\nNegotiation: Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and fair pricing.\nSite Visits: Conduct site visits to assess work progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to stakeholders, providing updates on costs, risks, and project status.\nEstimating/Price Tenders: Estimate and price tenders for both new-build and interior fit-out projects.\nSub-Contract Valuations: Carry out sub-contract valuations to ensure accurate and timely payments.\nPlacing Orders: Manage the placement of orders with suppliers and subcontractors.\nGeneral QS Duties: Handle client changes, variations, and review drawings to ensure that projects remain on track and within scope.Requirements:\n\nProven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, particularly in the retail and new build sectors.\nStrong understanding of construction processes and cost management.\nExcellent negotiation and communication skills and ability to manage relations with clients, suppliers and subcontractors\nAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary of up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.\nA dynamic and supportive working environment How to apply:\n\nSubmit your CV\n\nCall / Text / Whatsapp Kayleigh on (phone number removed) for a confidential conversation.\n\nIvy Resource Group are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
