The role is hybrid with a requirement to attend the office in Winnersh Triangle, 2 days a week.

The Technical Project Manager, part of the Justice and Public Safety Business Line, is responsible for the project to be developed and delivered in line with customer requirements, schedule and costs.
We are looking for a Project Manager to co-ordinate the smooth running of the project work within the department. The role will manage the Project teams in a range of project activities; updating project documentation; drafting specifications; compiling reporting; and other project management and administrative tasks to deliver a high standard of project management to UK Government customers and partners.
The Key responsibilities are to:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
* Defines and updates the project backlog, including acceptance criteria to ensure requirement coverage and traceability
* Lead workshops and provide vision and direction to all stakeholders including technical teams and internal or external customers and partners
* Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards
* Ensure the communication and reporting to all stakeholders
* Support the business teams as needed in offers’ preparation, demonstrations, products presentations
* Identify and mitigate project risks, while fostering open communication with stakeholders.
* Elaborates, manages and executes development plan of one or several projects that sum up to >30k hours
* Identifies staffing needs for the project
* Mentor and support team members, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills and experience:
* Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance will be required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
* Significant relevant experiences in technical project management to UK Government
* Proficiency in project lifecycle management
* Prince 2 certificate
