The Assisted Living RN Clinical Supervisor or LPN Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of nursing care in Assisted Living. Essential Job Duties : Supervises direct nursing care in Assisted Living. Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated. Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment. Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records. Audit MAR’s/TAR’s for discrepancies. Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing team. Provide training as required. Assists with orientation of nursing personnel. Participates in family/resident counseling as needed. Responds to emergency calls as necessary. Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to resident care. Complete medication pass audits each month for Quality Assurance and Improvement Performance. Ensure all new admission assessments and initial care plans are complete and accurate within 24 hours (RN must sign off on admission assessments and initial care plan within 24 hrs.). Complete Licensed Health Professional Support (RN) documentation for each resident. Assists Assisted Living Administrator in developing and implementing policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS RN or LPN supervisory experience or equivalent experience specifically in an assisted living, skilled healthcare or long-term care center is strongly preferred Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina Work Schedule 8a-5p Monday - Friday. Some additional hours may be required to meet the business demands of the position. Also, on call status responsibilities.
