o Develop authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, SSO, and SAML.
o Work with our data team to:
+ Upscale the current ETL to ensure high-availability, durable, and fault-tolerant data pipelines, reliable data processing, handling large volumes of data while maintaining performance.
+ Design, develop, and manage scalable and resilient data architectures using a range of Microsoft and Azure-based solutions, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.
* Azure-based AI and Data Management Solutions
o You will work with our AI team to:
+ Utilize a wide array of Azure AI tools, such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Databricks, to process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
+ Implement machine learning models and AI-driven data workflows to improve data processing, data governance, and predictive analytics capabilities.
+ Use Azure AI and machine learning tools to automate data quality assurance, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition for enhanced decision-making.
* Data Encryption & GDPR Compliance
o Implement data encryption protocols to secure sensitive information before ingestion.
o Develop data masking and anonymization techniques to prevent exposure of personally identifiable information (PII).
o Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
o Work closely with security teams to monitor and audit data protection measures.
Secondary Responsibilities:
* Client Onboarding & Technical Support
o Oversee the technical aspects of onboarding new clients to our SaaS platform and automating the onboarding process.
o Assist in configuring secure API connections and data security settings for clients.
o Provide technical support and documentation for API integrations and security features.
* Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java to handle data integration tasks.
* Integrate microservices with other Azure services, APIs, and data pipelines to create a cohesive data integration ecosystem as part of the data team.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive experience (5+ years) in data engineering, data integration, or cloud-based data management roles, particularly in Azure and Microsoft environments.
* Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure data management tools for creating scalable and resilient data architectures.
* Strong background in microservices architecture and Java development, with hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining microservices-based systems.
* Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, securing them using OAuth, Single Sign-On (SSO), and other industry-standard security mechanisms.
* Proficiency in implementing data masking, anonymization, and encryption techniques to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, especially GDPR.
* Strong experience with data modeling techniques, including star schema, and using Azure tools for optimizing data storage and retrieval.
* Strong programming skills, especially in Java to automate data workflows and microservices development.
* Familiarity with machine learning, AI-driven automation, LLMs, NLMs, and analytics tools in Azure.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve complex data integration and scalability issues.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience with a range of Azure AI tools, such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks, and AI Foundry, to process and structure data efficiently.
