Position: Carbon Emissions Reduction Manager
Location: Bradford - hybrid, home working (1-2 days in the office per week). This could be slightly more when collaboration, training or meeting deadlines demand it.
Work Type: Permanent opportunity, full time, 37 hours per week between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. Flexible approach including part time working is open.

Role Overview:
As our Carbon Emissions Reduction Manager, you’ll work with operational teams and capital programmes to collaboratively deliver greenhouse gas emission reductions, focusing on Scope 3 emissions and the development of carbon removals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Refine costed carbon emission reduction plans with the Manager of Net Zero Carbon and stakeholders.
* Manage short- and long-term risks and opportunities related to emission reductions.
* Engage teams in identifying and delivering emission reduction programmes.
* Develop effective carbon removals and establish a credible carbon offset strategy.
* Participate in networks to shape best practices in carbon management.
* Serve as technical secretary for the Net Zero Carbon Committee.
* Develop knowledge in sustainability data and provide specialist advice.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Passion for sustainability and delivering change.
* Ability to support decision making on options for decarbonisation.
* Ownership of driving reduction of carbon hotspots.
* Knowledge of carbon management best practices.
* Understanding of value determination for investment.
* Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
* Ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels.
