The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of national and international clients and will demonstrate a global mindset and cross-cultural competence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop an in depth understanding of client and customer goals, developing the ability to anticipate needs
2. Pro-actively service, support, and provide customers with improvement opportunities to increase income, maximise attrition and meet Company strategic objectives.
3. Assist in the implementation of new customers and develop relationships that reflect positively on the Company.
4. Assisting with new business implementations and sales department
5. Adept at navigating complex business needs and effectively driving growth
6. Awareness of cultural differences, with an ability to adapt style as required across our global footprint.
7. Manage account Management Reviews, including Account development and improvement plans
8. Responsible for contract and service level agreement creation, fee reviews & monitoring of performance
9. Develop and provide data analysis and reporting
10. Facilitate and manage product demonstrations
11. Manage and update information in any client database the company may apply
12. Review and propose updates to the travel policy, including consultation and compliance monitoring
13. Matrix management, connecting the customer and Travel at all levels within each business
14. Manage attrition in line with the business KPIs
15. Attending events on behalf of the company
16. Commitment to continual personal development, ensuring market, industry, and competitor knowledge is exemplary.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
17. Degree level educated in related discipline or equivalent experience in account management
18. Extensive experience in account management, preferably with global or multi-national customers
19. Extensive experience working with senior level decision makers
20. Demonstrable experience in project management
21. Excellent interpersonal skills
22. Strong analytical skills with an ability to process complex information
23. Strategic thinker
24. Extensive experience with MS office packages.
