Brook Street are working in partnership with HMPPS North East Regional Office in their search an Administrator to join their busy team.
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- £11.44 per hour (Weekly Pay)

- The assignment is initially for 3 months - however will be a rolling contract which will most likely be extended.
Job description:
The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities and duties:
Business Services support Provide a full range of support services to the PS Division, which will include the provision of a broad range of administrative functions as determined by the Divisional Support Hub Manager but which may include:
1. Absence management recording
2. Vetting administration and co-ordination
3. Appraisal, reward and recognition recording
4. Gift & Hospitality register updating
5. Training administration
6. Maintaining up to date divisional organisational charts
7. Health & Safety administrative support
8. IT - Change requests processing
9. Local information management using established Probation systems
10. Quantum point of contact
11. Procurement o I-Proc (requests)
12. Assisting with the design, development and maintenance of computerised and manual records
13. To work closely with the local senior management team to ensure that consistent processes are used within the local Probation teams
14. Assisting with the production of core process maps which detail operational Probation processes as well as processing and recording documents in relation to goods and services
15. Administering room bookings, meetings and events
16. Responding to external and internal telephone enquiries and personal callers
17. Hire Car Booking administration
18. General Office Administration
19. Handling printing requests
20. Circulating Alert office notifications as required
21. To use keyboard skills to produce and present documentation effectively
22. To respond to correspondence and queries as required
23. To record, supply and retrieve accurate data from computerised systems and provide management information to strict deadlines
24. To organise and store efficiently paper based information
25. To deal with sensitive and confidential data in accordance with data protection requirements
26. To work closely with Shared Services to ensure appropriate protocols and procedures are followed
