Client Acquisition and Marketing Manager – Learning Services
Base Location: London, Reading or Birmingham

Why Join KPMG as a Client Acquisition and Marketing Manager
As the Client Acquisition and Marketing Manager for Learning Services, you will play a pivotal role in increasing brand awareness and generating sales-qualified leads to expand the reach of our learning solutions. You will sit as part of the Advisory marketing team and work closely with the learning sales team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive lead generation, support client acquisition, and strengthen our brand’s position in the market. Your efforts will directly contribute to building KPMG’s presence in the learning sector and establishing our services as a trusted and innovative choice for clients.
What will you be doing?
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Drive the generation of sales-qualified leads that fuel the sales pipeline. You will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, utilizing digital platforms, social media, email marketing, content creation, and events to engage and convert potential clients. You will focus on key sectors and capabilities, ensuring alignment with KPMG’s growth strategy and market priorities.
2. Brand Awareness & Market Positioning:
Champion KPMG’s learning services in the market, ensuring that the brand stands out by delivering a connected, trusted, and powerful message. Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance visibility, drive engagement, and position the company as a thought leader in the learning and development industry.
3. Target Market Identification & Persona Development:
Identify target markets and work with the sales team to develop buyer personas. Understand the evolving needs of these markets and tailor campaigns to address their specific challenges.
4. Campaign Development & Execution:
Design and manage an annual marketing calendar to structure campaigns around key business objectives. Create campaigns that engage audiences at every stage of the sales process, from awareness to lead conversion. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and maximize their effectiveness across channels.
5. Learning Product Marketing & Sales Collateral:
Develop impactful sales collateral such as website content, brochures, presentations, and thought leadership materials that clearly communicate the value of our learning products. Ensure these materials support lead generation and help sales teams convert leads into clients.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Internal Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the sales, CRM, and business development teams, to ensure the successful execution of marketing strategies and alignment with broader business goals. Build relationships with other key areas, such as Corporate Affairs and Internal Communications, to foster a collaborative, “one-team” culture.
7. Lead Qualification & Sales Support:
Personally engage with early-stage marketing leads to assess their interest and readiness for purchasing. Provide ongoing support to the sales team throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition from lead to closed deal. Track and analyze lead flow to ensure consistent pipeline growth.
8. Event & Conference Representation:
Participate in key industry events, webinars, roadshows, and exhibitions. Represent the brand and work directly with sales teams to foster relationships, build credibility, and generate high-quality leads.
9. Digital & Data-Driven Approach:
Use CRM tools and analytics platforms to track and measure campaign performance, lead quality, and conversion metrics. Leverage insights to refine marketing efforts and ensure an ongoing data-driven approach that supports both short-term and long-term objectives.
10. Cross-Channel Marketing Execution:
Lead the development of high-performing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and events. Innovate with creative content and messaging to maximize impact and reach key audiences.
11. Budget & Resource Management:
Manage budgets for marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering measurable results aligned with the firm’s business goals.
What will you need to do it?
1. Experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on client acquisition and brand development—ideally in complex corporate environments, the learning/education sector, or professional services.
2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful end-to-end marketing campaigns, from lead generation to client conversion.
3. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, and best practices, with experience using CRM and marketing automation tools.
4. Experience in data analysis and using insights to optimize marketing performance and strategy.
5. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills – with the ability to flex personal style to engage every audience.
6. Brings a strong commercial mindset and has ability to spot the opportunity in the delivery of campaigns and projects, to collaborate with sales and business development teams to create campaigns that support pipeline growth.
7. Constantly reviewing better ways of doing things, testing and leveraging tech and digital platforms to deliver high performing campaigns and activities.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage face-to-face with clients and internal stakeholders.
9. Experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and working across teams to deliver high-performing results.
10. Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving market.
