Job Title: Marketing Intern Location: Mylands, 26-34 Rothschild Street, West Norwood, London, SE27 0HQ Company: Mylands Position Type: Internship (Part-Time and Full-Time) Duration: 3 to 6 months Internship (compensation for travel and lunch costs) Mylands is a London-based paint and wood polishes manufacturer founded in Lambeth, London in 1884. Quality and innovation are at the heart of the business, with our paints featuring in royal households, cultural institutions and on the sets of TV and film productions. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Mylands – we are seeking a passionate and driven Marketing Intern to join our busy Marketing team to support on upcoming projects and day-to-day activities. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing as well as see the inner workings of a heritage paint and polishes manufacturer. Key Tasks - Support with content creation and upload: newsletters, blog posts and editorial - Support the management of Mylands’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Edit videos for social media reels, conduct research, and develop effective hashtags - Support content shoots as needed: book relevant creative and assist on shoot styling as needed, create mood boards, source props, order material, assist during shoot - Support with content and assets management: labelling of photos and videos appropriately, upload of content, organising drive and folders - Event support – help in preparation for events such as factory tours and visits; support for fairs and events with key partners - Ad-hoc admin tasks – influencers lists, budget update etc Qualifications and Experience: - Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields, or already have obtained a Bachelors degree in a relevant field. - Basic skills and knowledge in using social media scheduling platforms. - Creative background with an interest in interior design a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English copywriting skills. - Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus. - Experience with marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Shopify) is a plus. - Creative thinker and problem-solver - Driven and dynamic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Previous experience within Marketing is a plus What We Offer: • Hands-on experience in a dynamic and creative environment. • Opportunities to work closely with industry professionals and expand your network. • A supportive and collaborative team culture. • Potential for growth and future career opportunities within the company.
