With the team growing, this Senior Engineer role will allow you to work in various sectors as part of an enthusiastic and committed team of engineers and technicians.
You are expected to have a strong track record in one or, preferably, multiple sectors that BakerHicks operates in, with experience working on a variety of medium-size projects and possibly managing small packages on large projects.
You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and committed team of Engineers and Technicians to deliver high-quality output on projects.
Client care and repeat business are crucial to BakerHicks' success, so you’ll need to be able to develop and nurture relationships with our clients (both internal and external).
Key Objectives
* Design and specify all aspects of Structural works under current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables.
* Contribute to the development and mentoring of our Early Careers population and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities.
* On occasion, manage our Structures involvement in small to medium-size projects, including time, cost, quality and client relationship management and delivery.
* Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.
Requirements
Qualification
* Degree qualified in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
* Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE (or equivalent).
Experience
* Demonstrable experience in delivering Structural engineer design, technical detailing and specification writing, within at least one sector that BakerHicks operates in.
* Be fully conversant with CDM Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes for structural loading, design and specification.

* Eligibility to pass criteria for security clearance required to work on sensitive projects.
