What the role is:
You advise the unit Commanding Officer (CO) in planning, organising, directing, and evaluating all safety efforts within the Battalion.
What you will be working on:
You also assist the unit CO in crafting the Battalion Safety Policy and developing a safety program focused on accident prevention. In addition, you are responsible for initiating regular research and reviewing safety policies, operational procedures, and formalising safety regulations for dissemination. Your challenge lies in ensuring the conduct of tough, realistic yet safe training, and that our soldiers are not exposed to unnecessary dangers and are protected against serious injuries or unwanted loss of life during peacetime training.
What we are looking for:
You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in technical or scientific fields. Having military experience in high risk vocations is advantageous. Possession of good organisational, supervisory and inspection skills is essential. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
