Residential support roles require long day shifts with the ability to do sleep-ins at the home overnight. ROC Northwest holds an envious reputation offering high quality residential care and education for children and young people with adverse childhood experiences and who may also be living with mental health conditions such as Autism, Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties and complex needs. What is the role? Your role will be to support our children in the homes we provide for them, in all aspects of their daily lives. You’ll help them to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family, encourage them to integrate in the community by attending clubs, events and social activities. You will safeguard our children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm. When the children are not in the service you will be expected to undertake basic housekeeping duties where required. All this is done in a genuinely family feel environment, and this is key to success in this role. Other duties may also include activities such as watching a movie with the children, reading with them, taking walks, trying your hand on a games console or helping with other fun activities.
