Band 4 MDT Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the busy but rewarding Cancer Pathways Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing administration support for the Harm Review Process alongside the management and oversight of a tumour site, ensuring patients receive the best possible care and experience through their cancer pathway.
Working closely with many clinical and non-clinical professionals, the successful candidate will work autonomously to deliver excellent care and support to their colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will specifically be responsible for providing administration support for the Harm Review process.
The post holder has responsibility for ensuring that the patient cancer pathways are monitored in accordance with the government national cancer waiting times targets. The post holder will have responsibility for actively escalating any patient that is at risk of breaching and having an up to date knowledge of all the patients on the urgent suspected cancer pathway.
The post holder has responsibility for coordinating and organising the activities of the Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) and team meetings. This will include liaising with all the departments that are involved in providing care and core services to cancer patients.

Qualifications
* GCSE Level C or above in English & Maths
* Educated to Degree Level Standard
Experience
* Experience of prioritising and managing a busy workload
* Experience of IT Systems and Data Entry
* Experience of working within NHS
Skills
* Awareness of Cancer Targets
* Use of hospital based computer systems
