Job Overview
Rare, part-time opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor / Manager to bring additional operational and advisory support to a close-knit, existing HR Team at a leading professional services organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources (including performance management) and be CIPD qualified to Level 7.
With a 'people first' culture, we're seeking a warm and experienced HR Generalist to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to an already high-performing team.
Logistics:
25 hours weekly, spread across 4 days inclusive of Fridays. Hybrid work policy in place
Responsibilities:
* Reviewing HR compliance across a range of areas, especially concerning contractors and updating policies/handbooks as necessary
* Staying ahead of regulatory changes and building in working practices and systems to support these, including contract review
* Taking the lead on employee wellbeing and engagement
* Handling more complex ER issues and performing an advisory role in difficult performance or absence management cases
* Utilising HR systems such as Workday to manage day-to-day HR operations
* Input into wider projects involving the
Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience in:
* Performance and absence management, disciplinaries and exit procedures, working with employment lawyers where necessary
* Immigration work and advising colleagues on relocation to the UK (in conjunction with immigration lawyers where required)
* Working with HR systems such as Workday / Peoplesoft
* Utilising strong communication skills to effectively liaise with employees and senior leadership
Logistics:
This role will require an office presence spread across the week, evenly spaced or shorter working days eg. 10am – 2pm each day with 1 day carried out from home. Candidates with the ability to commit 23-27 hours a week will be considered. Benefits include pension, bonus, private health, cycle to work scheme. Salary band would be pro-rata
