Loganair operates a comprehensive network of scheduled and charter flights around the United Kingdom and Europe. It continues to grow, and it now has around 850 members of staff, in various departments, including Engineering, Flight Operations, Ground and Customer Services, Safety and Compliance, Commercial, Finance and Operations. We have stations throughout the United Kingdom.
Applications are now welcomed for a Revenue Analyst to join the Finance Team based in our Glasgow Head Office. This role supports the Revenue Accountant and the financial accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue. Additionally, this role supports the Revenue Business Partner with timely revenue reporting.
Responsibilities
Financial Control and Reporting
* Ensure company Revenue and Finance processes are up to date and efficient with relevant process notes.
* Perform the daily didfly to identify the number of passengers flown each day.
* To update the daily sales totals.
* Using system reports identify customers to be invoiced through the corporate billing process and raise invoices. Ensure full audit trail exists for statutory audit.
* Reconcile revenue received for the various revenue streams.
* Carry out month end first draft postings for scheduled service, charter and other income.
* Provide our revenue partners with answers to daily queries received.
* Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist in reconciling the monthly forward sales figure.
* Prepare month end reports for subsidies.
* Prepare and analyse periodic interline and codeshare data.
* Chargebacks.
* Refund Control.
* BSP, Vivaldi, ICCS reports saving.
Ad Hoc and Other
* Represent finance in any revenue/commercial meetings and for any projects being carried out within commercial;
* Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and completed in preparation for independent audits;
* Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed;
* Present at meetings as and when required;
* Assist with projects in support of key corporate initiatives as defined by the Board
* Any other reasonable duties as required by the finance and engineering department.

Requirements
* Airline or travel industry experience desirable;
* Experience understanding of ticketing and reservation systems desirable;
* AAT or working towards AAT or equivalent desirable but not essential;
* 1 – 2 years operating within a finance team or accountancy role
* Comfortable working on an integrated accounting package together with a detailed knowledge of core office systems – particularly Excel
