MOT Tester required in East Oxford.
- Starting salary between £15-20 per hour pending experience.
- Working hours from 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturdays 9:00am-3:00pm.
- Either self-employed or employed contracts are available.
Due to business expansion our client, an independent automotive service centre operating in the East Oxford region for over 10 years, is looking to recruit a MOT Tester for their business.
Reporting to the Garage Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you shall be primarily responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customers’ vehicles to ministry standards. You shall also assist in carrying out associated service and repair work as well as providing overall workshop support as and when required.
To be eligible you will need to hold an active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence and a UK driving license with minimal points. You will ideally be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair however our client is also interested in MOT Testers that are time served in their experience of vehicle mechanics provided they have an active MOT licence. Overall, you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
