Finance Business Partner
Hertfordshire (Hybrid 2 days in the office)
Circa £65,000 + Excellent Bonus Up to 30% + Healthcare

The Finance BP plays a crucial role in future proofing the financial viability and budgetary requirements of the business through effective financial management, reporting and forecasting. The Finance BP is also key in creating a sense of ownership within the team ensuring a culture or continuous professional development, through actively encouraging, supporting, motivating and effective performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the organisation and coaching of a Team of 5 including 1:1’s performance reviews and Personal Development plans
* Ensure consistent, precise and timely accounting procedures are adhered to throughout the Wholesale operations.
* Lead timely, accurate and precise reporting of monthly management accounts with commentary & variance analysis
* Play a key active role with annual internal and external auditing
* Ensure cost centre profit and loss account for operations are produce and support budget owners in review and management of data.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
* Management and review of Balance sheet reconciliation
* Support development of business case requests for additional resource and funding
* Data analysis to review and recommend on commercials across multi-site environment
* Maintain the team’s attendance records within agreed company timelines and procedures.
* Conduct any disciplinary hearings in line with company policies.
* Lead in the recruitment, induction and training new team members.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement.
* Attend and contribute to management/department meetings where required.
* Any other ad hoc work required by the Commercial Finance Manager.
What we are looking for:
* Relevant people leadership and/or management experience, ideally in a finance and accountancy role
* Experience of financial systems
* Advanced Excel user
* Capacity to maintain exceptional attention to detail whilst managing large sets of data and working to tight deadlines
* Confident and influential communicator, with the ability to and build positive relationships at all levels
* Confident in their ability to manage complex personnel and business situations gaining positive outcomes
* Qualified Accountant ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
