We're working with an innovative TMT business that's looking for a Legal Director, Commercial to join their London-based team.
This is a high-impact role where you'll provide expert legal advice on a wide range of complex commercial contracts. You'll also work closely with senior stakeholders to drive legal strategy while building efficient contract processes and frameworks.
The Role:
* Acting as the go-to legal advisor for drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts, including B2B agreements, sales/distribution, supply/purchase, and technology transfer agreements.
* Developing and maintaining a precedent bank to support scalable contract processes.
* Providing strategic legal advice to stakeholders on key commercial matters, including risk assessment and mitigation.
* Creating bespoke contracts to commercialise new services and products for third-party clients.
* Managing external counsel as required and developing internal contract management processes.
About You:
* Qualified lawyer with around 8+ PQE with extensive experience in commercial law.
* Proven experience drafting and negotiating B2B contracts for selling services/products to third-party clients.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience working in-house or with start-up/scale-up environments is beneficial.
