Position: Sea freight Pricing Operator
Location: Burton-On-Trent
Salary: £36,000
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday

Our client is a leading, multi-national freight group that is experiencing a period of growth.
Sea Freight Pricing Operator Role:
The key focus of this role is to deliver support to UK Seafreight Product supporting Seafreight Senior Management with maintenance and distribution of cost pricing and efficient delivery of sales pricing to relevant stakeholders.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with customers, other offices including overseas (internally and externally), agents, shipping lines and hauliers.
2. Be the first point of contact and action all incoming calls from all internal/external customers.
3. Respond to all internal/external customer enquiries promptly and professionally and escalate where necessary.
4. Provide support and cover for other departments during absence periods as and when required.
5. Liaise with customers to formulate and provide Seafreight quotes in a timely manner.
6. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Seafreight product including Incoterms.
7. Demonstrate a high quality of excellent service.
8. Analyse cbm and w/m variances whilst demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
9. Ensure knowledge of exchange rates and maintain this knowledge daily to ensure it is up to date.
About You:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding - Multi-National company experience advantageous.
Sea freight operations and pricing experience.
Incoterms Knowledge.
