Job Description Legal Administrator NG1, Nottingham City Centre (No Parking) £22,000 - £23,500 per annum (DOE) Full-Time, Permanent (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our client's team in Nottingham City Centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a legal environment, with potential for training and growth. While previous legal experience is preferred, it is not essential; candidates with a strong administrative background are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Processing Legal Aid applications and dealing with amendments. Processing invoices in accordance with office procedures. Online diary management, to include hearings, filing dates etc. Ensuring hearings/ meetings are flagged for allocation. Chasing outstanding documents. Drafting basic court documents and standard letters. Setting up client appointments. Liaising with clients, the courts, and other professionals both in person, by email, and by telephone. Opening and closing files. Taking minutes of meetings. Requirements: Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred, but candidates with solid administrative experience will be considered. Strong communication and organisational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
