Are you ready to join a top-tier parcel delivery team that's making a difference? Gi Group is thrilled to partner with one of the most trusted names in parcel delivery, offering you an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team.
Full training provided: 2-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver and built-in training to a total of 12 days.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
1. You will be required to drive a van, delivering parcels to multiple locations within your assigned area. Each route typically includes up to 180 deliveries.
2. Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely.
3. Use GPS system to make deliveries.
Delivery Driver Required Skills:
1. Full UK or EU Driving License (held for at least 1 year)
2. Must be 19+ years old for insurance purposes.
3. Experience in driving roles is not required.
4. A maximum of 6 points on your licence (No IN, DR, DG or TT codes)
5. Willingness to complete a DBS check and drug/alcohol test.
6. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative.
7. Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 25 kgs)
Delivery Driver Pay:
1. Pay rate - £108 - £126 exc. VAT per day with weekly pay + performance-based bonuses and overtime available
Delivery Driver Shift:
1. Working up to 9 hours a day
2. Committed full-time shifts every week, with flexible options
3. Flexible schedule: Can work up to 6 days per week available, some weekend work will be required
4. Part-time work available.
