Hours: Various Shifts covering 7 days a week
Hourly Rate / Salary: up to £30,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join a professional kitchen team at a well-established venue in Ely. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys creating high-quality dishes. A background in a pub or restaurant kitchen is highly desirable, as it brings valuable experience in volume cooking, service timing, and working under pressure. You’ll play a key role in food preparation and service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.

Duties will include:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to company standards
* Ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner and in line with food hygiene regulations
* Monitoring portion control and waste to maintain cost-efficiency
* Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
* Supporting menu planning and contributing ideas for new dishes
* Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
Key skills and attributes required:
* Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role
* Pub or restaurant background is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet service deadlines
* Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
* Creative approach to food and attention to presentation
* Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
