Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Location: Ammanford
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)
Key Responsibilities
1. Safeguarding children
2. Liaise with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the best support is provided for all children
3. Provide support for children in a group setting and 1-1 basis if needed
4. Assisting with classroom preparation and activities
5. Management of disruptive behaviour
6. Help to produce a safe and engaging environment for children
Requirements
1. Minimum of GCSE’s in English and Mathematics
2. Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS checks.
3. Driving Licence (not essential but preferred)
What We Are Looking For
1. Previous experience working with children, preferably in an education or care setting
2. A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children
3. Excellent communication and listening skills
4. Positive attitude and an excellent work ethic
5. Ability to work across both key stage 1 and 2 if needed
