This role has a preferred base of Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Swindon) or Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Bath). However, there is a requirement for the post holder to travel between both the above sites and Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.

We’re looking for someone to join the B&NES Swindon and Wiltshire Acute Hospital Alliance Procurement Service delivering collaborative procurement and commercial support to Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT), Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GWH), Wiltshire Health and Care (WHC), and Royal United Hospital Bath (RUH).

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate(s) will have the flexibility to be based at any of the Trusts in Bath or Swindon and will undertake procurement activity for all Trusts within the B&NES Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care System (ICS) and consequently will be required to split their time across the organisations accordingly. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office after completion of a successful induction period.
The post holder will lead and develop the Transaction Procurement team to provide an efficient and high-quality service to all stakeholders by managing a small team to undertake the day-to-day activities on behalf of the ICS, ensuring Purchase Orders are raised in a compliant and timely manner.

* Working knowledge of Finance Systems

* Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
* NHS Experience
* Experience of Oracle and/or Unit 4 Systems
