Business Development Manager
Location: Newbury, UK (Hybrid)
As a Business Development Manager at eGain, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives by qualifying inbound marketing leads. You will use the MEDDIC sales qualification methodology to ensure that leads handed over to our Client Directors are of high quality and have a strong potential for conversion.
Research leads before introductory calls to understand their digital engagement and market position.
Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in CRM, and report weekly.
Nurture leads with standardised content and engagement schedules via email, LinkedIn, and calls.
Ensure leads meet criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in CRM.
Provide feedback on lead quality
CRM Management & Reporting:
~ Maintain accurate CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyse trends to improve qualification processes.
Pipeline Development:
