Job Title: 3rd Line Network Engineer
Location: Bristol (Hybrid, 2 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 3rd line support for complex network issues across LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve high-level networking problems, ensuring system reliability and performance.
3. Maintain and manage network security, monitoring, and optimisation.
4. Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to deliver seamless network services and upgrades.
5. Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Key Skills:
1. Strong experience with Cisco/Juniper routers and switches.
2. Proficiency in configuring firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.) and VPN technologies.
3. Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and security best practices.
4. Experience in network monitoring and performance tools.
Desirable:
1. Network certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.
2. Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
3. Experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
