As a Field Service Engineer / Mobile Mechanic, youll be out in the field, making sure our environmental, municipal, civil, and utilities assets stay in top condition.
From urgent breakdowns to scheduled maintenance, youll play a vital role in keeping our clients operational.Diagnose, repair, and maintain DGEMC-owned assets, including specialist utilities equipment(Road Sweepers, Tankers, Grabs, RCVs, Tippers & Specialist Vehicles/Equipment)Respond swiftly to service calls, ensuring downtime is minimisedUse diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issuesMaintain accurate electronic work records via PDACarry out PMI inspections and complete reportsManage your own time and stock levels efficientlyAbout YouWere looking for a hands-on technician with a problem-solving mindset. If you love working independently and thrive in a dynamic, on-the-go role, this is for you!Level 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent)Full, valid UK driving licenceStrong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsConfident diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and electrical faultsCompetent in the use of diagnostic equipmentClass 2 HGV licence desirable but not essentialGreat communicator and able to prioritise workloadAbout UsAt Dawsongroup, were leaders in asset rental, helping businesses stay agile and operational.
