Compliance Coordinator We are currently looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join The Sovini Group. (Maternity Cover) As a Compliance Coordinator, you will be expected to: Work collaboratively with the Compliance Officer, you will report to; the wider team, and internal colleagues and partners to deliver a non-negotiable 100% compliance record. Ensure the provision and delivery of timely and effective statutory and regulatory compliance related activities across our assets, which include high-rise residential and commercial properties. Areas of responsibility may include control of Gas, Asbestos, Fire, Legionella, Lifting Equipment, Specialist Electrical or other property safety related functions. Work within prescribed targets, standards, and budgets to provide robust controls of all our associated property risk and expenditure. Support the co-ordination and delivery of any periodic risk assessment, servicing and testing functions and related breakdown and refurbishment works in the areas of your responsibility. Monitor the performance and quality of work carried out by partners, consultants and others ensuring delivery is achieved within target every time. Review records and data ensuring these are accurate and fully compliant with all associated industry standards and be audit ready at any time. Ensure that OVH fulfils all statutory and regulatory obligations in relation to the health, safety and wellbeing of its customers, staff and others affected by our actions. Build and manage relationships with partners, consultants, 3rd parties and others with whom we manage and deliver our services. Ensure the highest levels of assurance are achieved for all the controls for which you are responsible. Undertake proactive review, analysis, validation, and reporting of data in connection with compliance related data to measure performance, trends, and use feedback to shape our service. Assist in the management of the commercial property assets of OVH. Keep up to date with developments in best practice, products and techniques. Keep abreast with legislative changes and amendments to relevant codes of practice. Be responsible for the day-to-day control and delivery of all activities associated with your areas in the absenceof Compliance Officer. Support achievement of all assigned KPIs/ PIs within target. Assist with the monitoring, management and audit of statutory compliance processes and performance in order to protect the interests of Sovini Group members, OVH and their customers. Assist the Compliance Officer in ensuring effective cost control mechanisms and processes are in place, and to ensure that value for money, probity and efficiency are achieved in your assigned risk areas. To be successful in a Compliance Coordinator role, the skills you will need: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with customers, consultants, contractors and employees. Excellent analytical skills which can be used to manage service delivery, improve performance and to conduct audits and reconciliations. Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks to challenging and exacting timescales. Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of programmes of work in target and in line with any statutory and good practice guidelines Experience of contract and performance management for built-asset related services delivered in-house and with external partners Ofqual regulated CIH Qualification or the commitment to work towards. Ability to use Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email. Ability to work in an agile working environment. Team player with the ability to work off own initiative. Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential: Full driving license and use of a car for work purposes. Working knowledge of legislation and standards relating to Compliance related Property Safety. Experience of co-ordinating requirements for any of the Top Six Compliance related disciplines Experience of working in a similar role for a registered social landlord or contractor with a proven track record of managing planned preventative maintenance regimes for specialised Mechanical & Electrical equipment across residential and commercial assets. A relevant compliance, health & safety or building management qualification or accreditation, or currently working towards this.
