Position
Hours: 36.5 hours a week (Monday - Friday)
Location: Remote
We are seeking a SEO and PPC Specialist who will play a crucial role in developing and optimising our online marketing efforts and be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to improve our search engine rankings, searchability and manage our pay-per-click advertising campaigns across Paragon Skills and other partner company websites as required.
You will use your SEO and PPC expertise to revolutionise our advert lead generation by working closely with the Marketing Director and wider marketing team to optimise our digital marketing results, drive further traffic to our websites and achieve measurable results in line with targets and our ambitious growth plans.
Role responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and our digital footprint to drive traffic to our website, or those of partner companies to maximise ROI and support growth.
2. Perform regular keyword search analysis activities to identify trends and high potential or frequently used keywords to be utilised to generate further opportunities for increased content optimisation.
3. Optimise and customise on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, URL structures and internal linking or sign posting to improve usability.
4. Monitor and analyse website performance utilising platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console or other SEO software.
5. Conduct thorough site audits regularly to identify and address any technical SEO issues, ensuring solutions are implemented swiftly, ensuring best practices are adhered to.
6. Devise, implement and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads and social media channels to increase performance and drive engagement.
7. Implement strategies to enhance conversion rates and overall campaign performance.
8. Perform regular testing and analyse advert performance to optimise copy, landing pages and bidding strategies.
9. Analyse data to identify trends, making amendments where needed to further improve.
10. Monitor budget and spending of PPC to maximise ROI and ensure efficient allocation of resources and expenditure.
11. Generate and report on SEO and PPC performance, providing detailed analytics to senior leadership colleagues, providing insights and recommendations.
12. Monitor the use of AI to support with PPC and SEO to streamline processes.
13. Remain up to date with current trends, market initiatives, algorithm updates and best practices in SEO and PPC.
14. Adhere to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures.
15. Proactively promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.

What qualifications we need from you
1. Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.
2. Educated to Degree level in Marketing, Communications or Business would be beneficial.
Knowledge and experience
1. 2 years experience working as an SEO expert (ideally in an agency setting).
2. Experience of using search engine algorithms, ranking factors and SEO best practices.
3. Proven experience managing successful Google/Bing Ad campaigns to generate results.
4. Experienced in researching keywords, monitoring on-page SEO and identifying opportunities.
5. Confident in using web analytic tools including Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
6. Management of PPC budgets, maximising ROI.
7. Experienced working remotely without close supervision, achieving results and meeting deadlines.
8. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic web development principles.
9. Knowledge of education sector would be beneficial.
10. Familiar with open-source CMS software such as WordPress.
11. In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz), PPC platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) and Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
12. Monitor and analyse site performance using SEO tools and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
13. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the marketing team and management.
14. Plan and execute PPC campaigns on social media platforms.
15. Demonstrated experience managing a large volume of campaigns.
16. Experience in Search Engine Optimisation and Pay-Per Click.
17. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and PPC.
18. Flexible and able to travel and commit to overnight stays if required for the needs of the business to attend meetings on an Adhoc basis.

2. Excellent analytical skills and able to interpret and present data to provide insights and make recommendations for improvements.
3. Ability to create and manage successful SEO/PPC campaigns and monitor conversion rates.
4. Detail oriented with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
5. Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, remote environment to support ambitious growth plans.
6. Ability to perform research, analyse websites, document changes, and make decisions regarding optimisation approaches.
7. Strong copywriting skills: ability to quickly and accurately craft compelling copy aligned to the corporate tone of voice and style guide.
