This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £32,002 - £35,719 per annum.
To provide support across all our highway associated term contracts to seek better control on quality of workmanship, material specification and spend control for the Council.

The Role:
You will:
Manage highway capital and revenue programmes to ensure cost savings and best value for maintenance, projects, and reactive works.
Collaborate with council staff and contractors, ensuring high-quality project delivery and benefits for residents.
Challenge specifications, workmanship, and costs to secure value for money through site visits and detailed reviews.
Build partnerships across the council and external agencies, staying updated on legislation and best practices.
What we are looking for:
Someone that can establish and maintain relationships with the client area.
Someone that collaborates well with the Project Team, and able to demonstrate that Value for Money is achieved.
Creative and flexible, able to design strongly support their findings, and represent the Council.
Someone with strong written and oral communication skills.
Some who is movitated and able to successfully work on their own as well as in a team environment.
