Bring your expertise in circuit protection, control instruments, electrical tests and variable speed drives to a leading industry player. Dive into a role where innovation meets excellence. \n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nAdvanced Electrical skills along with intermediate control/automation skills.\n\nElectrical Engineering Qualification such as Served Apprenticeship and/or HNC, NVQ or equivalent.
Ideally with 18th Edition.\n\nProven experience in diagnosing and resolving Electrical and Control/Automation issues, ideally within a manufacturing environment\n\nExperienced in basic and complex problem solving.\n\nAn action orientated, results driven, great customer focus that works well with people.\n\nExperience diagnosing complex PLC faults preferably Allen Bradley - desirable\n\nWhat will be your key responsibilities?\n\nYou will be responsible for fault diagnosis and resolving technical failures on production machinery.\n\nPriority setting supporting breakdowns and focus where necessary.\n\nDetailed reporting and recording of maintenance work using our SAP system.\n\nProvide technical support and coaching to assist others in resolution of equipment failures with Safety and Quality in mind.\n\nDrive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen).\n\nPerform Root Cause Failure Analysis on major unplanned breakdowns and recurring problems.\n\nUndertake preventative maintenance activities, repairs, filler jobs etc.\n\nWork with engineering on specific electrical and or controls projects from design to start-up, including HMI/PLC programming/fault diagnostics (predominantly AB), installation, checkout, start-up, and training.\n\nWhat can you expect from Mars?\n\nWork with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles.\n\nJoin a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.\n\nBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.\n\nAn industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.\n\nAbout Mars \n\nMars is a family-owned business with more than $35 billion in global sales.
