Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a flexible locum opportunity?
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the needs of children with disabilities, developing individualised care plans, and providing ongoing support to them and their families. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by children with disabilities and a commitment to advocating for their rights and well-being.

1. Social Worker to conduct assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
2. Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
3. Provide emotional and practical support to children and their families, including crisis intervention and long-term planning.
4. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including health professionals, educators, and other social services, to coordinate comprehensive care.
5. Advocate for the rights and needs of children with disabilities within the community and at policy levels.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
7. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and registrations:

9. SSSC registered in Social Work part of the register
