What you will do in your working day
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
* Basic assembly of products
* Manual handling – move, handle and store materials.
* Interpret Drawings specification
* Cutting - calculate quantity, length, area and wastage of resources
* Sanding
* Use of hand tools – maintain and store
* Material prep
* Housekeeping
* Light paint duties
The training you will be getting
* The apprentice will work towards their apprenticeship standard in Carpentry and Joinery Level 2
* The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course
* This is a day release programme which means you will attend Lincoln College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours
* Functional skills, maths and English, if needed.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* After successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be a full time position available for the right candidate
