As O perations Manager with Emtec Building Services, you’ll play a crucial role in propelling business growth and nurturing team development. You will have P&L responsibility for a team delivering revenue in excess of £12M per annum and have a focus on maintaining safety and quality. You’ll also be instrumental in achieving planned business volume and growth. The Role Manage and oversee site-based teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures encompassing Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance and Purchasing Lead and mentor site-based teams, fostering a culture of motivation and development. Ensure all works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards and codes of practice. Establish and set firm financial targets to meet established objectives, which will include the reporting of financial status to the Commercial Manager. Coordinate tendering processes for extra project works to suit client requirements. Cultivate strong customer relationships delivering exceptional levels of service. Identify new opportunities through existing customer base. Provide technical expertise to the customer and site-based teams utilising central departments, specialist suppliers and sub-contractors. Offer training and support as needed to enhance the overall effectiveness and success of the business. What you will need to succeed Previous experience in a similar role within an M&E Contracting Setting Strong management experience combined with excellent mechanical and electrical technical knowledge Exceptional leadership skills with a talent for motivating and inspiring the team Experience managing office and site-based teams Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
