Civil Engineering Operative / Groundworker Location: Dumfries & Galloway, Cumbria, and the Central Belt Contract: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £26000 - 32,000k | Overtime paid at time and a half after 10 hours per day Talent Media is proud to partner with our client to support the search for an experienced Civil Engineering Operative / Groundworker to join a well-established and growing team. About the Role This is a practical, hands-on role where youll work across various residential, commercial, and community-based projects. The work is diverse and rewarding, with substantial opportunities for learning and development whether through formal training or by taking on greater responsibilities on-site. Key responsibilities include: Concrete works (foundations, slabs, bases) Preparing the ground for roads, paths, and buildings Drainage works, including pipe-laying and manhole installation Service trenching and duct-laying Kerbing, slabbing, fencing, and landscaping Supporting and mentoring junior team members Who Were Looking For Were looking for someone with solid groundworks or civil engineering experience who enjoys being part of a team and takes absolute pride in their craft.
