Family Support Worker : We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced female Support Workers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a supportive, close-knit team providing care for two adult sisters in a family home. We are looking for individuals who have experience working with clients who have brain injuries and physical disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of these individuals by providing personal care, supporting with daily living activities, and fostering an environment that promotes their safety, well-being, and personal growth. You will work closely with a team of 4 staff members during the day and 2 staff members overnight, providing continuous, high-quality care 7 days a week. Due to the location of the property, access to your own vehicle and a valid driving license are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, and mobility support. Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times. Support and encourage participation in a range of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Follow and implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's specific needs and goals. Collaborate with parents and other Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) involved in the care and support to provide holistic care. Monitor progress, document observations, and report any changes in behaviour or concerns to the appropriate parties. Attend appointments and support clients during various therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and SALT meetings. Foster a positive, nurturing, and respectful environment to promote social interaction and personal growth. Provide both waking and sleeping night shifts as required, with a mix of long days, weekends, and night shifts as part of a rotating schedule.Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience working with clients who have brain injuries and physical disabilities is required. A genuine passion for supporting others to reach their full potential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively. Patience, empathy, and flexibility are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated team. A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to high-quality care.
